25 weeks!!
Well, it’s Monday! Which means another week! 25 weeks today!! I feel so grateful for every day that I get to be pregnant. Every day the chance of babies survival and overall health increases by 3-4%, so everyday counts.
Still on modified bed rest and taking it easy, though. Friday morning we had a bit of a scare as I was feeling increased pressure and just feeling really uncomfortable. I called the dr and they said that they want to see me, so we headed back to the mother baby center to make sure all was good. Luckily, it was, baby A is very low and he had turned, (now head down) which was explaining the pressure. They did some other exams and monitored me for contractions for a few hours and sent me home. I felt silly going in but the peace of mind was worth it to know all is well, still. I have another appointment next week.
The babies are super active, especially at night! I can feel the boys (A and B) the most. Baby girl
C is laying across my my stomach the long way, so I don’t feel her as much. They also have a harder time getting her heart rate because of the way she’s laying, but they said that’s common. So I just feel her every once in a while. Meanwhile, the boys are already wrestling each other, ha!
I am hungry ALL.The.time! Tom makes fun of me, I eat more than him these days, haha! I am craving Cheezits. I keep a box by my bed and eat them in the middle of the night when I wake up to go to the bathroom, haha. I am also really thirsty and working on getting my water intake in. They want me over a gallon a day. I can’t really eat a huge meal, there isn’t much room in my stomach, so I just eat a lot throughout the course of the day. I’ve gained 20 lbs so far, but luckily most of it has gone to my belly, so far.
I am sooo uncomfortable, though. My back hurts no matter what position I am in, and I just feel big and sore. I will take this feeling any day though as long as I can keep the babies in! Tom and I have been watching Jane the Virgin when he gets home from work. The basement is also coming along so nicely, we officially have a bedroom downstairs. He’s been working so hard! Speaking of work, I will start working from home tomorrow! Yay! It will be nice for me to feel productive during the day again!
Well that’s all I have for now, off to watch more Jane and eat some dinner!
Xoxo,
