Happy New Year…?

 Hello and HAPPY 2023! 

*I just went to go start another post and realized this one never posted. I don’t think I even finished it but I am just going to publish this one* 

We are 20 some days in and so far… yikes! The five of us are just getting over covid. Dang. We had avoided it for so long and then… booom. It hit us. It is so strange, it hit us all differently. Tom and I had horrrrrible headaches/body aches for days and were so exhausted. Sam had similar symptoms to us, Elliott had some stomach problems and molly was throwing up/fevering for days. It was great… and a wonderful time for our dryer not to be working. The laundry was really piling up, especially once she started vomiting. Blah!!! Anyways; that is over and as sucky as it was I’m glad we are all ok. The big bummer was that Tom had planned a weekend away with some friends for his birthday… and he obviously had to cancel that. He works so hard ALL the time and he was so bummed but we are gonna find a time asap for him to reschedule!

Feb is starting to look like a very busy month! The triplets turn FOUR in just a few weeks! 2 weeks from today actually. Insannne. We are so excited to celebrate them though! We are doing a hotel with a pool for them together and then decided that each kid gets to pick their own special one on one outing. I am really looking forward to this. Not sure if it’s something we will do every year as it’s getting expensive (isn’t everything though!) but it’s going to be really fun. Sam is going to go to monster jam with his cousin Jayke, Tom and papa (Toms dad) he CANNOT wait!!! Molly wants to do “princess things” so I am thinking of taking her to the mall and doing the princess spa package (like I said.. getting expensive..) with my mom. And then Elliott! He wants to do something with mom and dad- his two favorites. We are thinking of taking him either to a special children’s museum date or the zoo to see the dolphin show. We will figure it out! I’m excited to do something with everyone one on one! Not sure what the point of this blog was…

2024 things

 Jumping right in because I start every post the same way “wow, time has gone by so fast, I am gonna update this more!” Ha.  The triplets are FIVE! We celebrated big by heading to Disney world!! It was Tom’s first time along with the kids, so fun to experience all the firsts with them! We are so thankful my parents took us, definitely couldn’t do Disney with 3 5 year olds just Tom and I! Started the trip out with some good drama, wouldn’t be a family vacation without that! Ha! We had a super early flight and got to the airport with what we thought was plenty of time… 2 hours early. Unfortunately we missed our flight.. TSA was super backed up and it was a stressful start. But, we luckily got on the next flight and all was well.   Sam ending up falling in love with all things Disney and I wish I could have bottled up his excitement and joy. Truly, so special. 2023 recap // Elliott update

 * I started this in mid December* 😂 Merry Christmas, happy holidays, happy new year to all! I haven’t been super active on here but it’s part of my plan for 2024! I love looking back on it and it’s nice to take the time to reflect and write down the day to day as it changes few so quick and times goes so fast! January :  Tom’s birthday! We had a fun date night out axe throwing with some friends! We also got our house re-painted inside! So many marks on the walls and actually got non flat paint! Really made a difference!! Celebrated a late Christmas with Tom’s mom’s side, and we hosted! It was a fun celebration and nice to see everyone. Unfortunately, after that many of us got Covid. All 5 of us tested positive.. quarantine crew! I also joined a winter bowling league with some girlfriends on Monday nights, such a fun thing!  February:  Elliott, Sam and Molly are FOUR! had a little family celebrating with a paw patrol cake, pizza and balloons and they were so pumped!...

June 2022

 Summer is in full swing around here! We are loving all of the outdoor activities and the warmth! It’s been a lot of fun already this summer, I can already tell a huge difference vs last summer on what they can do. It’s fun to experience all the summer things through their eyes!  So many times I think to myself “I never want to forget this” or “I wish I could bottle up their little voices” so I figured I’d just do a quick blog post so that I can look back and remember one day :)  Elliott is talking up a storm!!!! It is like night and day! I love hearing him talk… turns out he has A LOT to say ;) He just got some red Mickey Mouse native shoes and oh man he is so thrilled about them. So fun to see how much he loves Mickey!  Samuel is the life of the party… and is also exhausting! Ha. He goes a million miles a minute until he crashes.
