7 years together 9.16.14













 Next week, Tom and I will celebrate 7 years of marriage! So hard to believe it’s been that long! I thought it would be fun to highlight the last 7 years and what we have accomplished together. 

2011 - we met officially. On November 5, at Moose Country. RIP 🤣 

2012 - dating, went on our first trip to Wi Dells over Labor Day 

2013 - engaged! 8/10/13 at the Dakota County Fair. 

2014 - bought our first townhouse in IGH in May, married 9/16/14 in the beautiful outer banks, North Carolina 

2015 - honeymoon! Florida Keys and then a cruise to Jamaica, Grand Cayman and Cozumel in February. Went to Duluth in Sept to celebrate our first anniversary. Miscarriage #1

2016 - another trip to Dominican Republic at an all inclusive (our favorite trip ever!!!) went to Oklahoma for thanksgiving 

2017 - signed on the lot for our new house to be built. Moved in with my parents for 3 months, sold our townhouse and moved into our new house in Rosemount. So much fun. Started fertility treatments. Miscarriage #2 

2018- went to Colorado for a family vacation, miscarriage #3, got pregnant with the trio. Crazy year! 

2019 - trio was born! I officially quit my job at the state and we became a one income family. So scary to take that leap but it has been such a blessing! 

2020- our first (and hopefully only!) pandemic. Lots of house projects and time at home as a family of 5. went to Florida with my family

2021- back to the Outer Banks where we got married, with the kids. Road trip with two year olds.. bad idea 🤣 and lastly, trip to Vegas to see our favorite band and the first trip us two since 2016! 

Soo much has happened in between all these years. So many hard things and so many wonderful things. I am so proud of all we’ve accomplished together and looking forward to seeing what the next 7 years will bring us! I love you Tom Glenn ❤️

2024 things

 Jumping right in because I start every post the same way “wow, time has gone by so fast, I am gonna update this more!” Ha.  The triplets are FIVE! We celebrated big by heading to Disney world!! It was Tom’s first time along with the kids, so fun to experience all the firsts with them! We are so thankful my parents took us, definitely couldn’t do Disney with 3 5 year olds just Tom and I! Started the trip out with some good drama, wouldn’t be a family vacation without that! Ha! We had a super early flight and got to the airport with what we thought was plenty of time… 2 hours early. Unfortunately we missed our flight.. TSA was super backed up and it was a stressful start. 2023 recap // Elliott update

 * I started this in mid December* 😂 Merry Christmas, happy holidays, happy new year to all! I haven’t been super active on here but it’s part of my plan for 2024! I love looking back on it and it’s nice to take the time to reflect and write down the day to day as it changes few so quick and times goes so fast! January :  Tom’s birthday! We had a fun date night out axe throwing with some friends! We also got our house re-painted inside! So many marks on the walls and actually got non flat paint! Really made a difference!! Celebrated a late Christmas with Tom’s mom’s side, and we hosted! It was a fun celebration and nice to see everyone. Unfortunately, after that many of us got Covid. All 5 of us tested positive.. quarantine crew! I also joined a winter bowling league with some girlfriends on Monday nights, such a fun thing!  February:  Elliott, Sam and Molly are FOUR! had a little family celebrating with a paw patrol cake, pizza and balloons and they were so pumped!...

June 2022

 Summer is in full swing around here! We are loving all of the outdoor activities and the warmth! It’s been a lot of fun already this summer, I can already tell a huge difference vs last summer on what they can do. It’s fun to experience all the summer things through their eyes!  So many times I think to myself “I never want to forget this” or “I wish I could bottle up their little voices” so I figured I’d just do a quick blog post so that I can look back and remember one day :)  Elliott is talking up a storm!!!! It is like night and day! I love hearing him talk… turns out he has A LOT to say ;) He just got some red Mickey Mouse native shoes and oh man he is so thrilled about them. So fun to see how much he loves Mickey!  Samuel is the life of the party… and is also exhausting! Ha. He goes a million miles a minute until he crashes.
