31
Today I am 31!! It’s so strange to think of myself as that age, I just don’t feel that “old.” I know I am not old by any means but it’s just hard to imagine that ten years ago I was getting crazy celebrating my 21st and now here I am!! This was one of my best birthdays yet, and my first as a mom! I got to spend the day with my babies and Tom, and my parents came over for dinner. Tom made sure I had a great day and I am so thankful for him. He made a homemade ice cream cake which was definitely a highlight!! So good!!
Life has been kind of crazy (when is it not though- for everyone, right?!) Tom has been home for about a week now since work has slowed down for him. Hard to install irrigation when the ground is frozen. It has been SO nice to have him around! He missed a lot of time with them working 50-60 hour weeks this summer and he’s loved being home with the babies. It’s so sweet to see them interact and I am thankful he gets this break before the snow starts! He’s got a couple “side projects” he’s working on so before we know it he’ll be gone again more but for now I’m really enjoying him home with us. This is his break! He had three days off ALL summer- memorial, 4th of July and Labor Day.
The basement is DONE! the couch is being delivered tomorrow, the curtains have been hung, the shelves decorated. It is such a good feeling!! I can’t take much credit but I am sooo happy!! I can’t wait to spend time down there and it’ll be great for hosting!
Samuel and Molly are officially on the move!! Samuel is crawling for sure and getting into everything possible! Molly is crawling but only goes a few times before stopping. Elliott is still just scooting and pulling himself ;) life is getting harder with these three. But so much more fun!! They are really starting to become themselves and Samuel especially is like a different kid! He is such a happy guy, he laughs and smiles ALL day. Gosh I love them sooo much!!
