Nov/Dec and NYC!

12 days until Christmas!! We are very excited over here, lots of Santa talk :) the kids are really starting to pick up on things so it’s been fun to see the lights, trees, decorations and all through their eyes. I still remember the excitement surrounding the holidays as a kid and I love that I am getting a chance to be part of their holiday magic!  School is still going well, still enjoying them being in separate classes. We had conferences in early Nov and they went so well! I wasn’t sure what to expect, this is a whole new level of parenting having conferences, but the teachers spoke so highly of the kids and we left feeling really proud (and to be honest a little relieved ;)) to recap: Samuel is the life of the party, has a bit of trouble settling down but does well with some individual attention and some redirection, knows ALL the kids in Mollys class and his own haha and is very friendly. That all tracks! Elliott is doing GREAT on his own and the teachers have noticed h...

October 2022

I’ve been meaning to update for a while but I get distracted by something else. I have about an hour before the kids come home from pre-school and there are 100 things I could be doing but I am committed to doing a blog post! So here I am. Coffee in hand, fall candle going, peace and quiet.  We had a fun and busy summer. The triplets finished their first session of pre-school and the end of July, and had all of August off. They loved school, their bus driver and it was so nice to keep our routine for the summer. Some highlights from the summer were our trip to Duluth to go see Thomas the train, staying in a hotel, riding the train in Osceola with Toms family, the Dakota county fair, a few parades, and lots of backyard splash pad fun. School started again in Sept and the triplets are now in separate classes. It took me a minute to come around to it but I am SO glad we separated them! They still go at the same time, but we are lucky they had 3 classes so they could each get the...

June 2022

Summer is in full swing around here! We are loving all of the outdoor activities and the warmth! It’s been a lot of fun already this summer, I can already tell a huge difference vs last summer on what they can do. It’s fun to experience all the summer things through their eyes!  So many times I think to myself “I never want to forget this” or “I wish I could bottle up their little voices” so I figured I’d just do a quick blog post so that I can look back and remember one day :)  Elliott is talking up a storm!!!! It is like night and day! I love hearing him talk… turns out he has A LOT to say ;) He just got some red Mickey Mouse native shoes and oh man he is so thrilled about them. So fun to see how much he loves Mickey!  Samuel is the life of the party… and is also exhausting! Ha. He goes a million miles a minute until he crashes. He got some yellow shoes and they make him SO happy! He is a great reminder of the little things being the big things. Give this kid anyt...

Spring 2022

Spring 2022.. or basically just the season after winter haha since we’ve not really had a spring! We went from cold and gray to 90, sunny and humid quick. Yikes! The kids are so big!! I just can’t even believe how fast time goes, I know we will be sending them off to kindergarten before we know it. Crazy! I can’t even remember what my last post was so I know I have a ton to catch up on. All three started school in Feb and are absolutely loving it. It is so good for everyone, including me. ;)  Elliott -  Elliott loves school! He cried on the first day when the bus came - which I was expecting but it hasn’t happened again. The first day was also a cluster because of course it was a blizzard… we didn’t know exactly when the bus was coming and they were all so excited so it was very overwhelming. But, he has adjusted SO well and I am so happy! He was definitely the one I was the most nervous about but I am so happy to say he’s doing well and I think he really likes it. We did deci...

Young wild and three!!

Young, wild and three! That is the theme of our lives right now. The triplets are young, definitely wild, and THREE! We had a fun few days celebrating them!! Before I get into that, I just want to do an update on everyone individually!  Elliott - 33.6 lbs and 38” he is the biggest! Not surprised, he is a solid dude. His pediatrician said it’s hard to believe he was a triplet preemie! He is growing so well. We’ve officially cut the paci during the day! I think we’ve said this before but this time we are really sticking to it. ;)  He still gets it for bed, Tom wants to cut it but I say no.. so we will see. He is the best sleeper and I just hate for something to mess that up! He doesn’t nap and between 630-7 at night he grabs my hand and leads me to his bed. So adorable! He is usually asleep within 5 minutes of him being in bed. It’s wonderful. He took a break with speech at Fraser but will start again at the end of March. He will receive speech at school, also. He is talki...
