Our Lives Loudly

Excuse me while I cry. Ten months of these beautiful humans. For some reason ten has hit me hard! They are so close to being one and I am just overwhelmed with pride and love for these tiny miracles I’m lucky enough to hang out with every single day! Once again it’s been a busy and fun month! So much change is happening with them and everyday they are learning something new... and everyday it gets harder and harder for me and Tom!! All three are officially on the move crawling and whoa- we are quickly realizing that mom and dad are outnumbered.. and that everything in our house is a hazard! Today I am 31!! It’s so strange to think of myself as that age, I just don’t feel that “old.” I know I am not old by any means but it’s just hard to imagine that ten years ago I was getting crazy celebrating my 21st and now here I am!! This was one of my best birthdays yet, and my first as a mom! I got to spend the day with my babies and Tom, and my parents came over for dinner. Tom made sure I had a great day and I am so thankful for him. He made a homemade ice cream cake which was definitely a highlight!! So good!! Life has been kind of crazy (when is it not though- for everyone, right?!) Tom has been home for about a week now since work has slowed down for him. Hard to install irrigation when the ground is frozen. It has been SO nice to have him around! He missed a lot of time with them working 50-60 hour weeks this summer and he’s loved being home with the babies. Another month has come and gone! The babies are 9 months! (about 7.5 adjusted age.)  We have lots of updates from the month - we had our first real round of baby sickness. We spent most of October home sick with nasty coughs and colds. Tom got it first and then spread it to me and the babes. Those of you who have had this know this cold hangs on! We were sick for about two weeks each. Molly got the first ear infection of the bunch and also had Bronchiolitis.. poor girl was coughing SO much. Luckily we are all feeling better now, though Elliott and Molly are still coughing a bit.
