29!

29 weeks, 2 days, and boy am I feeling it! So excited to have made it another week. It feels like such a relief, everyday I’m still pregnant is just another day the babies get to grow and develop! It’s such a fun time of year to be pregnant, too! However- after all of the Christmas events this week I am pretty tired! Tom is off work this week so it’s nice to have to home during the day. I am off today but will work (from home still) tomorrow and Friday. Hard to imagine what Christmas will look like next year with three babies in the house!!! Happy to report we don’t have any major updates pregnancy wise. I am still feeling pressure and it’s pretty intense, so I’m not walking much. Friday night and into Saturday the pressure was really bad again, so after much debating and calling the clinic we decided to head into Mother Baby Center to get it checked out. We knew I wasn’t in labor or anything  but we and the on call dr on the phone agreed that I’d have more peace of mind just get...

28 Weeks!

We made it!!!! 28 weeks. This is the day we've been working towards for the past 6 weeks. It feels so surreal, but we are FINALLY here. Now, this is NOT to say we are out of the woods for any complications and it's not all downhill from here, however with triplets (or any pregnancy, really) 28 weeks is a crucial  milestone to get to. I am so proud and in awe of my body and what it can do. We know there are a lot of unknowns to come and anything could happen from here on out, but it does feel good to say we are officially in the 3rd trimester, and today we celebrate that! Last night and this morning were pretty rough- I didn't sleep well (that isn't too uncommon these days) but last night was up most of the night feeling a lot of increased pressure. I kept waking Tom up debating if we should head into the hospital or just wait till my appointment that was scheduled for 9:15 am. I decided I would wait, however around 8:15 the pressure was so bad and I was nearly in tear...

27!!

Whoa, 27 weeks!! This last week was a bit of an emotional one, and pretty eventful!! I felt off for a few days, just more emotional than usual, and really sore and tired. Wednesday morning I was working from home and felt a lot of pressure again, so I called Tom. He told me to call the DR and he would start heading home from work. I called the the clinic and they said to come in right away. So, Tom arrived and we headed back to the hospital. Got checked into triage and they knew we were coming so they were ready for us. I explained the pressure I was having and they hooked me and the babies up to some monitors. Turns out, I was having contractions but not knowing it. They asked me some other questions and did a test to see if my water had broken, luckily it had not. We were hoping it would be a quick in and out check, but then the DR came in and decided to check my cervix. Luckily she did, as we found out I am dilated 1 cm, which Tom and I both knew that meant we would be staying. T...

Another week closer!

Another week has come and gone. Tomorrow I will be 26 weeks- so close to our second goal after  our hospital stay. I say this everytime- but I am so grateful for each day I am able to keep these babies cooking. I go back to the doctor for an appointment on Thursday and am anxious to see what they have to say. So far everything seems to be about the same; just feeling more uncomfortable with each passing day! This week was a bit more eventful than last, however. I started working from home so that has kept me busy and also allowed me to get into a “routine” which is really nice! We’ve also had some snow, which means Tom has been busy and gone at odd hours of the day/night. Life of a plow driver, haha. I am used to it now! Our neighbors threw us a wonderful diaper party last night- the theme was guns and roses, how perfect is that?! Of course an hour before it started it was snowing like crazy and the roads were terrible. Tom got called into work to start plowing!! A few people wer...
