Mother’s Day

I celebrated my first mother’s day yesterday (as a mom, I’ve been celebrating my amazing momma for 30 years!) I have to say that it was a hard day, but I am glad it happened the way it did. Let me explain... First of all, this is not a post to bash Tom by any means. He works his butt off for me and the kids and I could not be more grateful for him. He will do anything he can to make sure we are taken care of. So, he arranged for a side job for the weekend to make some extra cash. No big deal, I figured I’d take the kids to our moms for the day and all would be good. Well, Saturday came and i was with the kids for 12 hours alone, it was a long day. We did get out of the house and went for a walk and to the store (by myself! 🙌) but whenever we go to the store we are a spectacle so sometimes leaving the house is just exhausting because of others comments. 3 months!!

What a month it has been! The babies have changed so much since last month and are growing so fast!! It’s been busy, fun and overwhelming! We celebrated their first Holiday had lots of Drs appointments,, saw the Easter bunny and Tom and I had our first night away from them. I’m gonna jump right into the babies updates because a lot has happened this month! Elliott- oh, Mr. Elliott man. He is still such a mamas boy. He is still having stomach issues, unfortunately. He has been on the special formula for a month so the dr ordered a repeat test of his stool, and it came back positive for microscopic blood. So frustrating!! The last week or so he has been really uncomfortable and acting like he was before he got put on this formula. So, we aren’t really sure what the next steps are at this time. We just switched his reflux medication so I’m hoping that at least gives him some relief! He definitely likes to be held upright, and be held In general. He’s usually fine if someone is holding ...
